Processing of Personal Data 

To comply with GDPR, I’d like to tell you how I operate, and how I use your data.

When you enquire about the provision of services for you/ your company, I collect from you: Contact name Business/ trading name Contact email address This information is entered into my customer relationship management system (Zoho) so that I can provide you with the best service possible. This system is safe and secure and no one else has access to it. I will use this data to respond to your enquiry.

Should you confirm / book me to deliver a voiceover, I will use this data to deliver your order, and will potentially also collect from you:

– Business address

– Accounts contact name

– Accounts address

– Accounts email address

This information will be used for invoicing purposes and entered into my accounts software package (Quickbooks). This is accessed only by me and my accountant.

My normal means of audio delivery is wetransfer.com. For this purpose, I will use your email address. If you do not wish me to use wetransfer.com please contact me prior to audio delivery. Alternative delivery methods are available, but may incur an additional charge.

Retention of Personal Data 

I will keep your information until I have no need to communicate with you.

In the future, I may send you information that may be of interest to you (or my Christmas/ New Year email). I will do this on the basis of a legitimate interest to promote my services to you, and maintain good working relations with you. You may opt out and no longer receive any emails from me at amy time. To do this, please send an email to emma@emmahignett.com requesting not to receive any emails from me. You can also email this address at any time to enquire what data I have about you, and I am happy to update / correct any information I have, or to delete the record if you would like me to.

The data I have is not passed to any third party, other than my accountant who does not receive all the data, only what they need. 

Use of Sub Contractors 

I may use sub contractors from time to time to provide some services to you. I may need to share some of your personal data with these sub contractors in the course of the work. My sub contractors will not be permitted to use such data for any purposes other than in the course of the work. They will also be required to delete this data once the work is completed.
